Still under construction, it addresses issues such as school policies, the Canadian Disability Tax Credit, private insurance coverage and the benefit to Government of covering insulin pump therapy costs: "The cost of pump therapy [per person] into perspective, consider that the annual cost is roughly equivalent to: one day in an intensive care unit; two weeks of dialysis treatment; half of one laser eye treatment; 10% or less of the cost of coronary surgery and recovery".

From the author: "As you recall I have been going through the process of having the pump supplies covered by my employer. I didn't get full coverage but the issue did move forward several steps. Some relief is better than no relief"!
