Journées Corvées au Camp Carowanis
8-15 et 29 mai 2004
Le camp Carowanis, un camp pour enfants diabétiques est situé à St-Agathe-des-Monts. Il compte plus de 150 âcres de terrain. Chaque été, le camp reçoit environ 225 enfants diabétiques entre 8 et 15 ans.
Les clubs Lions du district U-1 organisent chaque printemps et chaque automne des journées corvées. De façon bénévole, les différentes personnes des clubs Lions et du public préparent le camp afin que les jeunes enfants y soient bien pour leur séjour de 2 semaines.

Journées Corvées

Carowanis Camp is a camp for diabetic children located in St-Agathe-des-Monts. It has more than 250 acres of land. Each summer, the camp welcomes about 225 diabetic children between the age of 8 and 15 years old.
The District U-1 Lions Club organise each spring and fall ‘’les journées corvées’’ in which the members of the different Lions Clubs and people from the public volunteer to get the camp ready to welcome the children for their 2 weeks stay.

It is important to notify us of your presence the Friday preceding the day you wish to join us at the camp since lunch is offered by the Camp Carowanis committee.
